ABOUT ME
I am an aspiring sports broadcaster living in Jacksonville, Alabama. I originally began this journey in my hometown where I worked with our local radio station covering the local high school county sports. I ran the board for our broadcasters and it is a small rural station so we ran our commercials manually. That was my job along with communicating and working with the broadcasters to ensure that the process ran smoothly. On the day to day I ran some of our live talk shows and built the commercial breaks which were ran live the same as our sports breaks. It was a great team to work with that taught me a lot about the technical side of broadcasting. I continued my journey in broadcasting during my time at Jacksonville State University with audio and tv production classes. Audio production taught me about proper recording, editing, and polishing audio and tv production taught me about running a tv broadcast. My main interest is in sports broadcasting, because the one thing I have noticed in all the games I have watched is the announcing team can change the tone of a game. Even if it is a really competitive and close game, a bad announce crew can deflate the excitement. I want to bring my energy and passion to sports broadcasting to make it feel like you are front row no matter where you are watching from.
